Strategic from Start to Finish

Broadwave Studios’ web development process is broken down into 3 phases. Each phase leads us through all the necessary steps to unsure the success of the project. Below outlines the Discovery, Design, Development and Deployment phases used to ensure the success of the project.

1) Discovery Phase
We work with the client to fully understand the background and define the project at hand. Our team works with you to establish goals and devise a plan of action. During the discovery phase our team performs the following tasks: strategy analysis, concept development, database needs analysis, flow-charting / information architecture, project scheduling and technology needs assessment.

2) Design and Development Phase
Once the discovery is completed and project scope is approved and agreed upon, the development begins by collecting all the needed information from your team. This includes copy, Keyword Research, data files and any other collateral materials needed for the website. With all of the copy collected and organized our team begins designing, optimizing and programming your site.

Throughout the development phase, the client will be asked to view progress and approve changes and updates through a dev site. Prior to launching, the client will review and approve the entire website – design, content and functionality.

3) Deployment Phase
This is the final step in the process that ensures the site is ready for launch. Our team navigates through the web site, testing for user experience, functionality, keyword placement and backend code. Final changes are completed and the website is launched live on the Internet.
