Position Description and Responsibilities
The Senior Account Manager has a strong ability for managing and growing the client relationship on one or more accounts under the direction of an Account Director or Vice President. The Account Manager provides client and project team leadership, develops mid-senior level client relationships and is regarded by the client as a trusted advisor. One of the main responsibilities being responsible for client satisfaction, account revenue growth, and overall business profitability in services delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
Manages project relationship with superior client organization
Responsible for the success and satisfaction of the individual client relationship(s)
Build relationships with senior managers within client organization
Responsible for client satisfaction, while targeting strategic client growth
Leads projects/initiatives to conclusion.
Oversees the development of detailed estimates/proposals working closely with the support of core team members.
Understands all creative/development teams enough to provide a quality assurance check of project deliverables and functionality requirements on every project.
Provides leadership, support and ongoing guidance to members of the project team
Creates opportunities for deeper collaboration with the client and reinforces their strong relationship they have with Broadwave
Provides Broadwave’s internal teams with appropriate insight into client’s strategic business initiatives and how best to deliver them
Has a strong understanding of industry trends and how to solve issues pertaining to client initiatives
Significantly grows the client relationship in terms of revenue goals and account profitability
Demonstrated ability to grow new business through industry contacts
Proactively sells/up sells, and manages customer expectations and communicates openly about client profitability or risks
Required Skills
Minimum 5 years of Account Management experience within an Interactive Agency.
Experience working with complex clients delivering annual services revenues in excess of $1MM each
Demonstrated understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), CMS (Content Management), Statistical Analytics, SEO, Digital Marketing, Social Marketing, SEO knowledge, eCommerce, and Internet Technologies
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving leadership, decision making and team building with strong problem solving skills related to program and account management
Experience with site development, specifically involvement in large scale site design, build-out and maintenance/enhancements
Demonstrated ability to work virtual, meet deadlines, and organize teams efficiently
Experience as a Project Manager in the interactive space and dealing with remote, design/development teams
Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: business, marketing, communications, or e-business engineering
Master of creative outside of the box thinking and methodical problem solving skills are a must
